Product Description
Six-Cover Pillar Post Trim for the Ford Crown Victoria & Mercury Grand Marquis (PP32481)
PP32481 is a six-cover polished stainless pillar set at $67.99, made in the USA from 26 gauge 304 stainless. Two Ford-built sedans share it, so read the fitment before ordering.
The title and the fitment record both list the Ford Crown Victoria 1992-2010 and the Mercury Grand Marquis 1992-2011, with both rows tagged 4-door, Sedan, LS, GS. The Mercury row runs one year longer than the Ford row. An earlier version of the title gave the Crown Victoria as 1998-2010 and omitted the Mercury; if you saw that, go by the rows. If you'd like the fit confirmed for your year, please call before buying.
The linked four-cover set, PP32480, has the same two rows in its record. Neither listing gives notes, post names or widths, so the galleries show what four and six mean in practice. Count the shapes in each and match them to your posts. If six suit the posts you'd like in stainless, this is your set; otherwise PP32480 is the one.
The LS and GS tags aren't explained in the listing. Check your records against all four tags, and call Quality Automotive Trims on 877-752-3811 with PP32481, your make and your year if anything is unclear.
The covers change the look of the posts only. Each sits beside the side glass, and the doors, windows and seals carry on as they are. The 304 grade resists corrosion through its chemistry, with no plating.
Whichever of the two sedans you drive, the six covers hold on with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, gripping the paint or trim the posts already have. Your car gets no holes and keeps its trim. The temperature range and the cure time are on the Installation tab; read them before you book a day for the job.
Six posts need a sound surface under the tape. Check each for powdery bloom, fine crazing, a curling edge, or old wax or polish, and put it right. Wash with car soap, rinse, dry completely, and finish with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths until a new cloth picks up nothing.
Have car soap, a bucket, alcohol, plenty of cloths, painter's tape and a pencil ready, plus a helper to compare the covers from a few paces away.
Work in shade on a dry, still day. Count the six against the photos and phone us about any bend or missing piece. Group them by position as the photos show. Liner on, hold each to its post, ease it until the margin is even, and frame it in painter's tape. Peel, seat it in the frame, press hard along its length and both edges, then fit the next.
If one of the six rocks or lifts at an end once you've offered it up, keep the liner attached and call us on 877-752-3811 before going further. Once the tape has cured, wash the covers with car soap whenever you wash the car, and towel them dry gently.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
