| Tiguan pillar listing | Covers |
|---|---|
| PP29650 | four |
| PP29651 | six |
| PP29652 (this page) | eight |
| PP29653 | ten |
All four listings share the same two rows. None has a note, names its pillars or gives widths, so the galleries are how you tell them apart. Look at each in turn, follow every outline, and picture it on your Tiguan. Order the listing whose pieces line up with where you want bright steel. If that's everything these eight photos show, this is the one.
Eight covers for a Tiguan of 2009 through 2017. A Tiguan from 2009-2017 or a Tiguan Limited from 2017-2018 is listed; anything else isn't. The record doesn't explain the 2017 overlap between the two rows, so if your paperwork leaves you unsure, call Quality Automotive Trims on 877-752-3811 and quote PP29652.
These covers are decorative. Each slim stainless panel brightens a post between the side windows, and the SUV's doors, glass and seals keep working as before. Grade 304 resists corrosion by its own make-up.
These covers are decorative. Each slim stainless panel brightens a post between the side windows, while the SUV's doors open and shut, the glass winds and the seals seal exactly as they did before. Grade 304 resists corrosion by its own make-up, with no plated skin over the steel.
Eight posts means eight finishes to check before the day. Look and feel for a chalky bloom, hairline cracking, an edge curling up or a coat of wax, and fix whatever you find. Then wash with car soap, rinse, dry well, and rub each post with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths until one comes back clean.
Line up car soap, a bucket, alcohol, plenty of cloths, painter's tape, a pencil for labels and a towel. A helper keeps the eight in order on the towel and sights the lines from beside the SUV.
Choose a mild, still, dry day in shade. Check all eight against the gallery and phone us about any that are bent or short. Lay all eight out in fitting order. Liner on, hold each cover to its post, ease it until the reveal is equal, and fence it with labelled painter's tape. Fence every position before peeling. Then one at a time, peel, drop the cover into its fence, and press hard along its length and both edges. Stand back after every two covers.
If one won't sit flush, keep its liner on and ring 877-752-3811. When the cure time is up, the eight covers are washed with car soap along with the paint and patted dry with a soft towel. Plan a longer session than the four- or six-cover sets need.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
