Product Description
Chevrolet Camaro 2016-2024 Chrome Door Handle Kit with Two Smart Key Openings, 4 Pieces (DH56100)
With only two doors, a Camaro has fewer handles to dress than most cars, and DH56100 is sized for that: four pieces of polished, chrome-plated ABS plastic. QAA notes the kit comes "W/ two smart key access points," so the keyless-entry function stays usable with the chrome in place.
Coupe and convertible
The listing covers the Chevrolet Camaro from 2016 through 2024, a nine-year run, tagged 2-door, Coupe and Convertible. Hardtop or soft top, the same kit is listed. The Fitment tab has the row.
Cover or accent?
The title and the catalog's part type both call this a door handle accent. The data doesn't say how the four pieces are split between the two doors, so look closely at the photos to see what each piece covers. If you're unsure whether you want full coverage or a slimmer accent line, the photos will show which this is, and we can talk it through on the phone.
Smart key access
A smart key access point is an opening that leaves a handle's touch sensor exposed. QAA notes two of them, but the catalog doesn't say which pieces carry them, so find them in the photos or during the dry fit. During the dry fit, check that each opening frames its sensor completely. Once the covers are pressed down, walk up to the car with the fob and try the sensor on each door.
Construction
ABS plastic, chrome-plated and polished, imported. The covers mount with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle.
A tidy install
Two doors means this job goes quickly, but take the prep seriously:
- Wash the handles and the paint surrounding each one.
- Degrease and let it air-dry completely.
- Dry-fit and frame each piece with painter's tape.
- Lower it onto the frame and work your thumbs around its outline for several seconds.
See the Installation tab for the full prep notes.
Pre-order checklist
Confirm your Camaro falls between the years listed, compare your handles to the photos, and check whether your doors have touch sensors. If any answer is unclear, a quick call saves guesswork.
Even at every handle
After finishing the first door, stand at the front of the car and look down the body. The remaining pieces should sit at the same height and angle, so use the first door as your reference.
Matching mirror covers
QAA cross-lists MC56100, a 2pc chrome mirror cover set for the same Camaro coupe and convertible, noted as including a turn signal cut out. Handles and mirrors together give the sides a consistent chrome theme.
Weather
Install on a mild, dry day out of direct sun. Leave the car dry overnight. If it was waxed recently, degrease twice.
Care
Mild soap and a soft towel keep the plating clean. Avoid abrasive pads.

Installation tips: Door Handle Accent
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
