Product Description
Saturn Outlook Front Bumper Cap Accent, 2007-2009, Two Pieces of Polished Stainless (BC47425)
If your Saturn Outlook is a keeper and you want to freshen up its face, BC47425 is a simple place to start. It is a two-piece front bumper cap trim accent in polished stainless steel that QAA lists for the 2007-2009 Saturn Outlook 4-door SUV. It's a small two-piece set that puts a bright accent on the Outlook's front end.
Your Outlook, your years
QAA catalogs this part for the Outlook in 2007, 2008, and 2009. The body style is the 4-door SUV, which is how the Outlook was listed in the QAA data. No other vehicles are listed for BC47425.
The idea behind a bumper cap
Front bumpers are usually wide expanses of painted plastic. A bumper cap trim accent is a slim piece of bright metal that sits on that surface and catches the light. QAA supplies two of them for the front of the Outlook. The catalog does not describe the exact shape or location, so please look at the product photos to see where they sit.
Polished 304 stainless
QAA makes both pieces in the USA from 26-gauge 304 stainless steel and polishes them to a mirror finish. You are not buying plated plastic, so the brightness is a property of the steel. Grade 304 is a widely used stainless alloy, and 26 gauge is the thickness of the sheet.
Easy to install
The 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape is pre-applied, so installation is a matter of cleaning, aligning, and pressing. The pieces go directly over the existing surface of the bumper; nothing is drilled and nothing is removed. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the paint. Wash the bumper, remove any wax with a degreaser, and let it dry fully first. The Installation tab has prep and temperature guidance.
A whole family of Outlook trim
QAA lists a full family of trim for the Outlook. For the same 4-door SUV, the catalog lists FV47425, a six-piece front vent and fog light trim set with three pieces for each, which sits close to the bumper and would pair well with this accent. There are also two lower-body options: TH47425, a four-piece rocker insert kit on the side molding, and ST47425, a four-piece door sill and rocker trim. Rounding things out are WQ47425, a four-piece wheel well accent, WS47425, a four-piece window sill set, and a two-piece SATURN OUTLOOK linked-letter decal set. All of them are linked in the Fitment tab.
Building a front-end package
If you want a coordinated look up front, the bumper cap accent plus the vent and fog light trim covers the lower front of the SUV in matching polished steel. With the wheel well accents and a rocker kit as well, the polished steel continues along the sides from front bumper to rear wheel.

- Clean and dry the mounting surface so the 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape bonds to paint or trim, not dirt or wax.
- Peel the liner, align the piece, and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface.
