These covers are cosmetic. Doors, windows and weatherstrip keep working exactly as before, and the 304 alloy resists corrosion without plating.
All four mount with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape set on the posts' existing paint or trim. No drilling, and no Ford trim comes off. The Installation tab has the temperature range and cure time.
Clean the posts in three passes: a car-soap wash, rinse and dry; a clear-out of wax, sealant and polish, with any chalky or flaking paint repaired; and a degrease with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloth until fresh cloth stays clean. Feel each post for dents as you finish.
Choose a calm, dry day and a shady spot. Check the four against the gallery and tell us about any damage at once. Dry-fit each one with its liner on, settle it until the border is even and mask round it with low-tack painter's tape, numbering the masks. Then, one at a time, peel the liner, set the cover in its mask and press firmly along its length and both edges. Lift the masks when you've finished.
