Product Description
Toyota Avalon 2019-2022 Pillar Post Trim, 4 Pieces (PP19165)
PP19165 is the four-piece set in a family of four linked pillar post sets for the 2019-2022 Toyota Avalon 4-door sedan. It's polished 304 stainless, made in the USA, and listed at $67.99. The larger Avalon sets carry short notes that hint at how they differ. This set has none.
What the other Avalon sets say
Here are the notes exactly as listed. PP19166, with six pieces: "Includes Rear Triangle piece". PP19167, with eight pieces: "Includes Rear Triangle piece, and Rear piece". PP19168, with ten pieces: "Includes Front Triangle piece". PP19165 has no note at all, so don't expect a triangle piece in this box. Beyond those notes, none of the listings name the pillars covered or give a width, and the notes don't define where each piece sits. The product photos are the place to see the shapes.
Is four enough?
If you don't need a triangle piece, four covers is the simplest choice, with the fewest pieces to line up. If a triangle piece matters to you, look at the larger sets' photos and notes. Compare this gallery with theirs before deciding, and match each shape to the panels on your Avalon. Ordering two Avalon sets? Please ring 877-752-3811 first. Fitment
Toyota Avalon, 2019-2022, 4-door, Sedan. Four model years on one row. Check your records, and call before ordering if the year doesn't match.
The sheet also lists other Avalon trim, such as a body side molding, a rear deck accent and grille accents. Those are separate parts, sold on their own and not needed for this set.
Material and mounting
Each cover is 26 gauge 304 stainless steel with a polished finish. There's no plated coat to flake; the shine is the steel. The covers attach with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape directly over the existing surface, so there's no drilling and no trim comes off.
Fitting the covers
Read the Installation tab for the tape's temperature range and cure time, then pick a dry, mild day and a shaded spot.
Compare all four covers with the photos, and call us if one arrives bent or missing.
Wash the pillar faces with mild car soap, rinse and dry. Wipe each with isopropyl alcohol on a lint-free cloth and let it evaporate. Strip any wax or ceramic coating where the tape will go.
Place the four Avalon covers by the gallery images. Hold each in place with the liner on, check both edges follow the pillar, and mark the outline with painter's tape. Peel the liner, set the cover on its marks and press firmly along the full length and edges. Fit the next one, step back to compare, then do the last two.
If a cover won't seat, leave the liner on and call 877-752-3811. After the cure time, wash with ordinary car soap and dry with a soft towel. The listing says the steel is polished to a mirror shine.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
