What to have ready. Car soap and a bucket, rubbing alcohol, plenty of lint-free cloths, painter's tape, a pencil for numbering, and a clean towel on the trunk lid to hold the covers in order. A helper standing back from the sedan makes alignment easier to judge.

Outline all six before any backing comes off. Then work through them: peel, set the cover inside its outline, and press hard along its length and both edges.
