| Mazda6 pillar listing | Covers | Note |
|---|---|---|
| PP29760 | four | none |
| PP29761 | six | none |
| PP29762 (this page) | eight | none |
| PP29763 | ten | "Includes Triangle piece" |
As the table shows, the triangle piece is noted only on the ten-cover listing. This eight-cover page doesn't mention it, so don't expect it here. None of the four listings names its pillars or gives widths, which makes the galleries the comparison. Look through each, follow every outline onto your Mazda6, and order the listing whose shapes match the posts you'd like in polished steel. If that's everything shown in these eight photos, this is the page.
Four model years are covered. PP29762 lists the Mazda6 for 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. With four sets to choose from, a phone call can settle any doubt: Quality Automotive Trims, 877-752-3811, quoting PP29762.
The covers are decorative. A slim polished panel sits on each post between the side windows, and the Mazda's doors, glass and seals are left exactly as they were. Grade 304 resists corrosion with no plated finish.
Each cover bonds by its 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape to the paint or trim already on its post. There's no drilling and no trim removal. The Installation tab lists the temperature range and the cure time to allow.
Eight covers means eight posts to prepare, and every one has to be sound. Go round the sedan checking each for a powdery film, a mesh of fine cracks, a corner peeling or a slick of wax, and put it right. Then wash with car soap, rinse, dry completely, and wipe each post with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths until one comes away clean.
Collect car soap and a bucket, alcohol, plenty of cloths, painter's tape, a pencil for labels and a towel. Ask a helper to keep the eight covers in order on the towel and to judge the lines from a few paces off the sedan's side.
On a mild, still, dry day in shade, check all eight against the photos and phone us about anything bent or missing. Lay all eight out against the photos. With the liner on, hold each cover to its post, ease it until the gap is even all round, outline it in painter's tape and pencil a label beside it. Outline every position first. Then work two at a time: peel, place the cover in its outline, and press hard along the length and both edges. Look at the Mazda6 from a few feet away after each pair. Polished stainless steel forms all eight.
If a cover rocks or won't sit flush, keep its liner on and ring 877-752-3811. After the cure, wash with car soap and dry with a soft towel. Expect a longer session than the four- or six-cover sets, with cleaning and outlining taking most of it.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
