Kneel beside each door and check the bottom inch and a half. Deep scratches, chips or a dent along the edge will show through or under a thin steel strip, and they should be repaired first. If something on your doors doesn't resemble the product photos, ask before ordering.
Wash, then degrease
Soap and water take off the dirt; isopropyl alcohol takes off what soap leaves behind, such as wax or spray sealant. Do both, along the full length of every door bottom, and let the paint dry completely.

Setting them
Hold a piece in position with the liner still on, lower edge flush with the bottom of the door. Close the door slowly to make sure the ends clear. Look along the side at the front and rear pieces together. When it looks like one clean line, peel the liner gradually and press from one end to the other, then once more over the whole piece.
Afterward
Hold off on washing for about a day, and pick a warm, dry day for the job.
