Cleaning the arches
Flush each arch lip with the hose until the water runs clear, then wash the face with shampoo and a soft mitt, rinse and dry. Let the truck drain. Inspect each 1.5" band under a lamp for packed dirt, old glue, wax and chips, and remove them. Wax-and-grease remover across the band, then isopropyl alcohol just before each piece.
Fitting
Work one arch at a time with a step for the top. Tape up its pieces on their liners and check joins and the gasket line against the photos. Bond from the top of the arch outward in short peel-and-press steps, butting each piece against the last. Press the whole arch again.
Arrival and care
