Preparing
Park out of the sun and close the windows. Clean each sill with a soft cloth and diluted shampoo, follow with a damp cloth to lift the soap, and dry. Shine a lamp along the surface: polish haze or old adhesive will show. Remove adhesive with a plastic scraper, wipe the sills with wax-and-grease remover, and finish each with isopropyl alcohol just before fitting.
Fitting the four pieces
Write the door on each liner from the photos. At a front door, hold the piece with painter's tape and its liner on, compare both ends, then peel the liner from the front end and press toward the rear. Fit the rear behind it, then the remaining doors, and check that front and rear line up.
No washing for a day after fitting; then mild soap and a soft cloth.
Three ways to trim the windows
On this Maxima you can buy just the sills with WS24540, combine the sills with WP24545 for upper trim plus sills, or go for WP24540, which covers upper trim, sills and pillar posts in one 14-piece box. If you choose the first two routes and want pillars as well, PP24540 or PP24541 covers them. Compare the photos for each to see the finished windows. When the parcel arrives, count four pieces, match them by door, and keep them flat and covered until you're ready. Fit in a single session so the whole car matches.
Then look at the sedan side-on from a few paces away and give any lifted end another firm press.
