Product Description
Nissan Rogue and Rogue Select Chrome Door Handle Covers with Two Smart Key Points, 8 Pieces (DH28538)
For Rogue owners with smart key handles who want them fully chromed, DH28538 is the kit. QAA's note says it "Includes two smart key access points." These eight chrome plated ABS covers, imported, are listed for the 2008-2013 Nissan Rogue and the 2014-2015 Nissan Rogue Select, both 4-door SUVs.
Two access points
Smart key handles carry a touch point for locking and unlocking. Two of the covers in this kit are shaped to leave those points open, so the feature keeps working. The product photos show which covers have the openings. Check them against your handles before ordering.
Choosing between four Rogue kits
QAA lists four handle kits for this vehicle:
- Stainless accent, no access notes: DH28535
- Stainless accent, smart key access: DH28536
- Chrome cover, no passenger key access: DH28537
- Chrome cover, two smart key points: DH28538 (this kit)
If you want full chrome covers and have smart key handles, this is the match. Prefer stainless? DH28536 is the smart key version.
Rogue fitment
Nissan Rogue, 4-door SUV, model years 2008 through 2013, six in all. Nissan Rogue Select, 4-door SUV, 2014 and 2015. The Fitment tab shows both rows.
Construction
Molded ABS plastic with polished chrome plating. Molding lets each cover follow the handle's curves and form the smart key openings, and the plating supplies the shine. This is a cover, so the handle itself becomes chrome.
Install with the sensors in mind
The covers mount with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. Degrease and dry every handle. Begin with the two smart key covers: hold each in place and confirm the opening lines up with the touch point. Then press each one firmly for a few seconds and continue with the rest. When done, test the smart key at each handle. Full guidance is in the Installation tab.
More for this Rogue
QAA's Rogue catalog also lists a grille surround accent (SG28535), a sixteen-piece full window trim package (WP28535), a four-piece upper window package that QAA says only works with its pillar post kit (WP28536), and a four-piece sill set (WS28535). Gas door, license, pillar, bumper, rear deck, and wheel well trim complete it.
Convenience plus chrome
Smart key entry is a feature you use every day, and a cover that blocked it would be a step backward. This kit keeps that convenience while giving the handles a polished chrome look.
Before you order
Confirm your model and year, and check that your handles have smart key touch points. If they do not, look at DH28537 as the chrome alternative.
Care
Let the tape settle before washing. Afterward, wash and dry the covers with the rest of the Rogue, avoiding abrasive compounds on the chrome plating so the finish stays bright.

Installation tips: Door Handle Accent
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
