Installation
All sixteen chrome pieces, four per door, go onto the GM handles with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. Per QAA, that tape holds for a lifetime and leaves the vehicle's surface unharmed.
- Lay out the sixteen pieces in four groups, one per door, using the photos.
- Wash and degrease all handle areas, then dry.
- Work one door at a time, dry-fitting each of its four pieces by hand.
- Press each piece firmly before moving to the next.

Conditions for a strong bond
Foam tape grips best on clean, dry paint at a mild temperature. If the Tahoe was waxed recently, spend longer with the degreaser. Press each piece along its full outline rather than only in the middle, and avoid washing until the tape has had time to set.
Care
After the tape sets, wash the chrome on the Escalade, Silverado or Tahoe gently and towel it dry; skip abrasive pads.
