Getting it right the first time
Wash and degrease each handle and give it time to dry. Lay the eight pieces out next to the photos, then pick out the keyhole piece and the two sensor pieces first. Dry-fit those and confirm the key slides into the lock and each sensor is fully exposed. Mark everything with painter's tape, then set and press each cover in turn. Sorting tip
Set the pieces with openings at one end of a clean towel and the plain covers at the other. That way, the pieces that need the most careful alignment never get mixed in with the plain covers.
Even lines
After two doors in a row are done, stand behind the truck and look along it. The front and rear covers should sit at the same height, and the remaining covers should match.
Weather
Install on a mild, dry day out of direct sun, and keep the Ram dry overnight. Degrease twice if it has been waxed recently.
Care
Wash with mild soap and a soft towel; abrasive pads will scratch the chrome.
