Product Description
Chrome Door Handle Cover Kit for Honda Pilot and Ridgeline, 8 Pieces with Passenger Key Access (DH16260)
Honda's Pilot SUV and Ridgeline pickup share a lot under the skin, and QAA lists one door handle cover kit for both. DH16260 is an eight-piece set of chrome plated ABS covers for the 2016-2022 Honda Pilot and the 2017-2026 Honda Ridgeline. Its defining feature is in the catalog note: it includes passenger key access but does not include smart key access.
What "passenger key access, no smart key access" means
The covers are shaped with an opening for a passenger side key cylinder, so a keyhole there stays usable. They are not cut for smart key buttons or sensors. If your handles have smart key features, this is not the right layout for them; if they are plain handles with a passenger keyhole, it is. A minute spent looking at your own handles will settle the question.
Fitment rows
QAA lists two rows:
- Honda Pilot, 2016-2022 (seven model years)
- Honda Ridgeline, 2017-2026 (ten model years)
Both rows carry the same combined body labels, 4-door, SUV, and pickup truck, so go by model and year rather than the body tag. The Fitment tab shows both rows exactly as cataloged.
Material notes
The covers are molded ABS plastic with a polished chrome plated surface, imported. Molding lets each cover follow the shape of the handle, and the plating gives a mirror finish. It is a separate material from the polished stainless steel in QAA's accent trim lineup, which is worth knowing if you plan to mix both on the same vehicle.
Before any cover goes on
Installation uses 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing any damage to the surface of the vehicle. Prep is what makes the bond: clean every handle with a degreaser, let it dry, and dry-fit each cover. The passenger side piece with the key opening should line up with the cylinder before you commit. Once each one is aligned, press it firmly for a few seconds. The Installation tab covers the rest.
Why a full cover kit
On a large SUV or a pickup, the door handles are right at eye level. Chrome covers change them from body color or black to bright, polished chrome without replacing anything. Eight pieces handle all four doors and their surrounds; the catalog does not list what each piece covers, so the product photos are the guide.
Same kit, two vehicles
A family with both a Pilot and a Ridgeline can order the same part number twice and give both vehicles a matching look. That is one of the advantages of a kit listed across models, and it keeps reordering simple.
Companion parts
This SKU has no companion parts listed with it, so the Fitment tab shows DH16260 on its own. Ask us about other trim for your Honda.

Installation tips: Door Handle Cover Kit
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
