Product Description
Cadillac SRX 2010-2014 Chrome ABS Grille Overlay, 7-Piece Title / 10-Piece Package (SGC50260)
SGC50260 is a chrome plated ABS plastic grille overlay for the Cadillac SRX SUV, 2010 through 2014. The title calls it a 7Pc set, but the listing's note says "Package includes 10 pieces. (10 pieces fit 2010-2012 and only 7 of the pieces will fit 2013-2014)." Your model year decides how many pieces you'll use.
Ten in the box, seven or ten on the car
Reading the note at face value: the package holds ten pieces. On a 2010, 2011 or 2012 SRX all ten are meant to fit. On a 2013 or 2014, only seven of them will. The record's piece count field is seven, which matches the title rather than the note. Because those figures disagree, look at the photos and call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811 to confirm what ships and which pieces suit your year.
Material
"High Quality Chrome Plated ABS Plastic - Imported." It isn't stainless steel, and no tape, thickness or made-in-USA claim applies.
Fitment
Cadillac SRX, 4-door SUV, 2010 through 2014. No trim exclusions are listed.
Owners of a 2013 or 2014
Expect some pieces to be left over. The data doesn't say which three don't fit or why, so set aside the photos and ask us to point out which ones to use before you start.
Mounting
The listing says "Easy installation! Cut to perfection & Polished to a Mirror Shine" but not how the pieces attach. Ask us before ordering.
Nothing linked
No other parts are tied to this record.
Organize first
Lay every piece out, compare with the photos, and number them with painter's tape. With up to ten parts, that small step avoids confusion halfway through.
Preparation
Wash the grille, rinse out the openings and dry everything. Wipe off wax where the pieces will sit.
Fit in stages
Hold each piece in place before fixing it, working across the grille, and check the spacing as you go.
Keeping plating bright
Wash gently with mild soap. Avoid polish, compound and scouring pads, which can wear plating.
What to tell us
Your SRX's model year is the key detail for this part. Tell us that, and whether your grille is factory, and we'll confirm the count and fit.
Why a model-year split?
The note implies the SRX grille changed partway through this span, since fewer pieces fit the later years. The data doesn't describe the change, so don't rely on memory or another car's photos; ask us. If you own a 2013 or 2014, keep the unused pieces in their packaging until the job is finished and you are happy with it, and call us before discarding anything.
A note on the title
Online, the title count of seven pieces is what you'll see first. The note inside the listing is the more detailed statement, and it mentions ten. That gap is exactly why we ask SRX owners to confirm by phone; we'd rather spend two minutes on the phone than have you count parts on the driveway and wonder what's missing.
