Product Description
Tahoe and Yukon Snap-On Chrome Mirror Covers, 2015-2020 (MC55195)
MC55195 is a snap-on chrome mirror cover set for two SUVs on the same sheet: the Chevrolet Tahoe and the GMC Yukon, both listed from 2015 through 2020 and tagged 4-door SUV. Its one note is "Snap on replacement set." No tape or adhesive is listed.
Models and years
The listing title names the Tahoe and Yukon for 2015-2020, and the fitment rows agree. If your SUV is a Tahoe or Yukon from 2015 to 2020, it's on the rows. Any other Chevrolet or GMC model isn't, and neither is a Tahoe or Yukon outside those six years.
Snap-on vs. top-half tape
The sheet links MC55196, a second 2-piece set for the same two SUVs. Its note is "Top Half only," and it mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. MC55195 has no top-half note, just the snap-on one. So the two differ in mounting, and MC55196 is described as covering only the top half while this listing doesn't describe its coverage at all. The record gives no dimensions for either. Put the two sets of photos side by side with your mirrors, and call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811 if you'd like help telling them apart.
About "replacement"
The catalog calls this a replacement set but doesn't say what part of the mirror it replaces, if any, or how the covers lock on. Don't assume anything beyond the photos. If the details matter for your SUV, call before ordering.
Specifications
- A two-cover set
- The covers are ABS plastic with chrome plating, polished
- Imported
- A snap-on replacement set
The record doesn't mention a turn signal opening.
Rear window trim on the sheet
RW55195, a 2-piece Rear Window Trim tagged 4-door SUV, is the other linked part. It's sold separately and its own page lists its material and mounting.
Getting ready
Wash the mirror housings with soap and water and let them dry, so you can see the surface and any damage clearly. Repair cracks or chips first. Compare each cover with the photos and its mirror before you press it into place, so each one goes where it belongs. Since no adhesive is listed, the tape-related steps on the Installation tab may not apply; follow the photos and call if anything is unclear.
A few questions to settle first
Is your vehicle a Tahoe or Yukon? Is it a 2015 through 2020 model, as the title and rows list? Do you prefer snap-on covers over tape? And do your housings look like the ones in the photos? If every answer is yes, MC55195 is listed for you. If any answer is no, look at MC55196 or call before ordering.
Year window
Both rows run from 2015 to 2020. A Tahoe or Yukon outside that span isn't listed. Find your Suburban's year in the rows before ordering.
Care
Clean the Tahoe or Yukon covers with mild soap, water and a soft cloth; abrasive pads and harsh chemicals can mark the chrome.
