Product Description
Chrome Delete Black Grille Overlay 2019-2023 Nissan Maxima (ABS6825BLK)
ABS6825BLK is a gloss black grille overlay built by Trim Illusion for the 2019-2023 Nissan Maxima. There are two pieces in the box.
Style
A front end is mostly grille, from most angles. An overlay covers the grille that is already there instead of replacing it. Black trim makes body color stand out more. It is a good fit if you never liked factory chrome.
How it mounts
Fitting type: tape-on. No holes are needed. Surface prep is what makes the tape hold. It is made of ABS plastic.
It is cataloged for the 2019-2023 Nissan Maxima and nothing else. Your registration shows the model year.
Know your vehicle
Production type: thermo-formed.
Complete the look
For a matched Nissan Maxima, see MC6244BLK (mirror cover, gloss black), DH285 (door handle cover, chrome), DH330 (door handle cover, chrome). Fitment differs by part, so verify each.
Write down ABS6825BLK for your records. Boxed, it measures near 47.0 x 13.0 x 3.0 in.
Photos show the part installed; match them to yours. It skips the downtime of a paint job.
Avoid installing in extreme cold or heat. Talk to us first if in doubt: 877-752-3811.
Treat it gently, as you would clear-coated paint.
There is no ongoing upkeep schedule. Dry it with a soft towel to avoid water spots.
Accents work best when they repeat around the vehicle. It gives this spot the same attention as the rest.
Weekend DIYers will find it approachable. You do not need special skills to get a clean result. Small details like this set a vehicle apart in a parking lot.
Lay everything out in the order you will install it. Test the fit before anything is pressed home. Clean up with a soft cloth at the end.
We cover shipping costs to the continental US. Confirming the year and trim first saves time.
Compared with painting, a cover is the quicker route. It costs a fraction of shop work.
QAA ships free to the lower 48 states. The Fitment tab is the final word on compatibility.
Paint matching small parts is harder than it sounds. It suits renters of garage space and driveway workers alike.
Lease drivers often prefer add-on trim over permanent changes. Patience matters more than tools here.
Ownership is simple once it is on. Bird droppings and sap should come off promptly.
Before starting, confirm everything arrived undamaged. Mark reference points with painter's tape if it helps. Take a photo; it is satisfying to compare before and after.
Trim is where many factory cost cuts show. It is one step toward a cohesive look.

- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
