Product Description
Chrome Delete Black Grille Overlay for 2019-2024 Ram 1500 (ABS6583BLK)
For owners of a 2019-2024 Ram 1500, ABS6583BLK offers an easy finish change: a gloss black grille overlay by Trim Illusion. Trim Illusion packs four pieces in this set.
Attachment
This one attaches with tape. Nothing has to be drilled. Most of the work is cleaning and lining it up. It is made of ABS plastic.
Pairs well with
For a matched Ram 1500, see DH296 (door handle cover, chrome), MC303 (mirror cover, chrome), SM6105BLK (door molding set, gloss black), SM6106BLK (door molding set, gloss black), SM6103BLK (door molding set, gloss black). Check each listing's own fitment.
Why it matters
The first thing anyone sees coming is the grille. Overlays skip the cost and labor of a full grille swap. Gloss black removes chrome from the picture. It suits black wheels and tinted windows.
Know your vehicle
Production type: thermo-formed.
Only the 2019-2024 Ram 1500 is listed. Other years use different parts.
Expect a box about 55.0 inches long. Skip abrasive pads and harsh chemicals. Give yourself a clean, well-lit space.
Call 877-752-3811 with your year, make, model and trim. Our system finds it fastest by ABS6583BLK.
Higher trim levels often charge extra for this look. Photos show the part installed; match them to yours.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. Keep wax and polish off the edges where possible.
Open the box and check the contents against the listing first. Mark reference points with painter's tape if it helps. Recheck the edges after the first drive.
It suits anyone tired of the stock appearance. Plan a calm afternoon rather than a rushed half hour. Small details like this set a vehicle apart in a parking lot.
Spray coatings need masking; a molded part does not. No masking or overspray to deal with.
Trim is where many factory cost cuts show. It is a quick win for the overall appearance.
We cover shipping costs to the continental US. Double-check fitment before checkout.
A molded cover follows contours that wrap struggles with.
Finish by checking every edge.
It makes sense for a vehicle you plan to keep a while.
Ownership is simple once it is on. Road salt rinses off easily with plain water.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. Your exact model year matters for this part.
The eye follows lines of trim around the body. It is an easy place to start.

- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
