Chrome Delete Black Grille Overlay for 2022-2023 Mazda CX-5 (ABS6579BLK)
ABS6579BLK gives a 2022-2025 Mazda CX-5 a gloss black upgrade. Trim Illusion sells it as a grille overlay. It ships as two separate pieces.
Fitment is the 2022-2025 Mazda CX-5 alone. Your registration shows the model year.
The look
People notice the grille before anything else. Overlays skip the cost and labor of a full grille swap. Gloss black works for a chrome-delete look. It suits black wheels and tinted windows.
Related trim
You can extend the look with WSK854-17BLK (wheel skin set, gloss black), WT6022BLK (window trim set, gloss black), MC351 (mirror cover, chrome). Each has its own fit list.

Day to day, it needs no attention beyond washing. Use pH-neutral soaps when you can.
Weekend DIYers will find it approachable. You do not need special skills to get a clean result. It is a visible upgrade for a modest effort.
A molded cover follows contours that wrap struggles with. There is no paint booth involved.
Finish choices set the tone of the whole exterior. It gives this spot the same attention as the rest.
Inspect each piece before installation day. Work from one side to the other in a consistent order. A final walk-around confirms everything sits even.
We cover shipping costs to the continental US. When in doubt, ask before you buy.
Shipping is free within the contiguous United States.
Small finish changes add up across a vehicle. This part handles one piece of that puzzle.
Lease drivers often prefer add-on trim over permanent changes. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. Small details like this set a vehicle apart in a parking lot.
Start by matching each piece to its position on the vehicle. A dry run catches problems before they become permanent. Give it time before the first wash.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. Automatic brush washes are harder on trim than hand washing.
Hydro-dipping requires removing the parts first. No sanding or primer is involved.

- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
