About the finish
People notice the grille before anything else. The factory grille remains underneath as the base. Chrome is the classic dress-up finish. It brings the dressed-up look of a top trim level.
Install notes
Installation is tape-on, per Trim Illusion. Your drill stays in the toolbox. Most of the work is cleaning and lining it up. Construction is ABS plastic, so it will not rust.
Use the gallery to check the outline against your own vehicle. Shipping weight is around 1.75 lb. A cover avoids the expense of new OEM parts.
Work in the shade on a mild day. Call 877-752-3811 with your year, make, model and trim.
Have part number ABS495 handy when you call. Wash with regular car soap and a soft mitt.
It is aimed at drivers who like a personalized vehicle. You do not need special skills to get a clean result. Small details like this set a vehicle apart in a parking lot.
A molded cover follows contours that wrap struggles with. This route keeps the factory parts intact.
Unpack carefully and set the parts on a soft surface. A dry run catches problems before they become permanent. Wipe off fingerprints when you are done.
Day to day, it needs no attention beyond washing. Road salt rinses off easily with plain water.
Orders to the lower 48 ship at no charge. The Fitment tab is the final word on compatibility.
Small finish changes add up across a vehicle. It makes the change visible from the street.
QAA ships free to the lower 48 states.
Compared with painting, a cover is the quicker route. No sanding or primer is involved.
It suits anyone tired of the stock appearance. It does not require a lift or a garage full of equipment. The result reads as a deliberate design choice.
Before starting, confirm everything arrived undamaged. Test the fit before anything is pressed home. Take a photo; it is satisfying to compare before and after.
One mismatched part can stand out more than you expect. It is one step toward a cohesive look.

- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
