QAA lists six rocker kits for the 1990-1994 Lincoln Town Car that link to one another, and TH30680 is the basic sedan version: eight pieces of polished stainless steel, 7.75" wide, described as a Full Kit that "Spans from the bottom of the molding to the bottom of the door." It carries no further coverage note. That absence is the main thing to understand when comparing it with its 16-piece sibling.
Eight pieces or sixteen?
TH30681 is also a 4-door sedan kit at 7.75", but its record says "Full Length, Includes coverage from the wheel well to the bumper on the front and rear." TH30680 has no such note. Measure the band
From the underside of the molding to the bottom of a door should come to about seven and three quarter inches. Check yours with a tape measure before ordering; if it's well off, ask us.
Readying the doors
A car of this age often carries layers of wax and touch-up. Clean thoroughly, then wipe the band with isopropyl alcohol several times. Test adhesion with a strip of painter's tape and repair any paint that lifts.
Placing the panels
Each panel fills the space between two edges, so dry-fitting tells you a lot: hold it up with the liner on and check that it meets the molding above and the door bottom below without overhang. Then peel a corner, set the top edge tight under the molding, and press downward and along.
