TH36892 is an eight-piece polished stainless steel Upper Kit for the four-door 1996-2000 Dodge Caravan and Plymouth Voyager. It's 3" wide and "Spans from the bottom of the molding DOWN to the specified width."
A 3" stripe, not a full panel
This kit and its full-height sibling TH36890 are tagged for the same van. The difference is how far down the steel goes. TH36890 runs from the molding to the bottom of the door, eight and a quarter to nine and a quarter inches. This kit stops 3" below the molding, leaving most of the lower door painted. Mark a line 3" below the molding with painter's tape to see the result before you order.

The three-door Upper Kit is TH36893 (seven pieces); the three-door full kit is TH36891.
Voyager

Material and mounting
For the 1996-2000 Caravan and Voyager, eight 3" strips of USA-made polished 26 gauge 304 stainless are pressed on under the molding using 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. Per QAA, the tape will hold for a lifetime without harming the minivan.
Keeping a narrow band straight
A 3" strip shows any tilt. Keep the painter's tape preview on the doors as a guide for the lower edge, and look down the side from the front corner after each piece.
Molding
Each piece's top edge sits under it. Press along the molding on every door and secure anything loose before prep.

No layout given. Use the photos; label the liners.
Cleaning
Wash, dry, then alcohol along the band.
Sliding doors
Test each sliding door with its piece taped on, liner in place, through its full travel.
Placing
Peel a few inches, set the top edge, keep the lower edge on the guide, press along. Finish with firm pressure.

Let the Voyager go a day without a wash.
Why choose the narrower kit
If you prefer a thin line of polish below the molding to a large panel of steel, this is the kit. A narrower band asks less of the paint beneath it, since the lower part of each door isn't covered. It's a matter of taste. The full-height TH36890 is there if you change your mind before ordering.
Door gaps
After the front and rear pieces are down, check that the lower edges meet in one straight line across each gap.
Caravan readings
Measure each Caravan position from the door edges and keep the readings consistent.
Tools
A tape measure, painter's tape, a marker, car soap, isopropyl alcohol, clean cloths and a plastic tool. A dry, mild day in shade.
Ongoing: mild soap and soft cloths, no scouring pads.
