Getting the sills clean

Fitting the plates
Pick a front door on the SRX to begin. Hold the plate on the sill with the liner on, center it, and mark the ends with painter's tape. Peel the liner, align, and press firmly along the length; press once more a minute later. Do the other front opening, compare the two, then do the rear openings. Every time a door opens, the sill is right there at your feet. A polished plate gives each opening a finished look and lies flat, so doors close normally.
