Product Description
GMC Acadia 2017-2023 Pillar Post Trim, 4-Piece Polished Stainless Steel (PP57425)
PP57425 is a four-piece pillar post kit QAA cuts for the GMC Acadia, listed for the 4-door SUV from 2017 through 2023. It is the smaller of two Acadia pillar kits and the easier one to install, giving the side windows a crisp steel outline without covering every surface.
Seven model years
The listed application runs from 2017 to 2023: model years 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, all on the 4-door SUV body. That gives most Acadia owners from that span a direct fit. The Fitment tab shows the application exactly as QAA records it.
Four pieces or six
The second Acadia kit is PP57426, with six pieces. QAA's catalog identifies the two by piece count only, with no notes about which post each piece fits. The listing photos are the clearest way to see the difference. Four pieces is a good choice if you want a bright accent but would like to keep part of the existing finish visible. Six pieces suits those who want more of the frame in steel.
Pillars on an SUV
Pillars are the upright structures between and around the side windows that support the roof. On a tall SUV like the Acadia, they are a big, visible part of the side profile. Covering them in polished steel breaks up the dark band of glass and gives each window a clean edge. Because the trim sits over the existing surface, the change is cosmetic and nothing structural is altered.
Material
QAA makes the four pieces in the USA from 26-gauge 304 stainless steel and polishes them to a mirror shine. It is solid stainless, not chrome-plated plastic, so the brightness is in the metal and matches from piece to piece.
Installation
Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape and installs directly over the existing pillar surface. No trim needs to come off. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing damage to the vehicle's surface. Wash the pillars, dry them completely, and wipe off any wax or residue. Test-fit each piece, then peel the liner and press firmly. The Installation tab has the full order of steps.
Work in the shade if you can; tape bonds best to a panel that is clean and not hot from direct sun.
Another Acadia part
QAA also lists a 2-piece mirror cover replacement set (MC57425) for the same Acadia. Its catalog note says it covers the top only and is for mirrors with no turn signal. It is sold separately.
Specs and help
Part number PP57425 carries UPC 691821420391, listed on the Specs tab along with the material and piece count. For help choosing between the four- and six-piece Acadia kits, call Quality Automotive Trims at 877-752-3811.
If you are unsure how much coverage you want, starting with the four-piece kit is reasonable. It gives a clear, noticeable change while keeping the install short, and the polished pieces pair cleanly with any other QAA stainless trim you choose for the Acadia later on.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
