Material
Each cover is 26 gauge 304 stainless steel with a polished finish, made in the USA. There's no plating, so the shine is the metal itself and there's no coating to chip or peel. Thin sheet like this lies close to the panel underneath, so the cover reads as part of the trim rather than something sitting on top of it.
Mounting
The covers attach with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape directly over the existing surface. No holes are drilled and no factory trim is removed. The Installation tab gives the tape's working temperature and cure time; follow those first.
Fitting the four covers
Gather a mild car soap, a bucket and sponge, isopropyl alcohol, a couple of lint-free cloths and a roll of painter's tape. Work on a dry day, out of direct sun.
Count the covers and compare each one with the photos. If one is bent or missing, phone before you start.
Wash the pillar faces, rinse them and dry them completely. Wipe each with isopropyl alcohol and let it evaporate. Tape bonds to a bare, clean surface, so remove any wax or ceramic coating where a cover will sit.
The Stinger gallery shows where the four covers sit. Hold each one in position with its liner on, check that the edges follow the pillar, and mark the outline with short strips of painter's tape. Then peel the liner, lay the cover on the marks and press firmly along its whole length and both edges. Fit the next one straight away so you can compare, then do the last two.
