The four Grand Highlander covers install over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, and no trim comes off. QAA states that tape will hold for a lifetime without harming the Toyota.
Install notes
Choose a dry, mild day. Wash and dry each pillar, then remove wax with a clean wipe. Offer each cover up with its liner still on until it matches the photos. Peel and press firmly from end to end. Four covers are the most understated choice for this crossover. They put a bright edge on the side glass and are quick to fit, which makes them a good way to try the look before considering more stainless.
