Product Description
Six-Cover Pillar Post Trim for the Chrysler Concorde 1998-2004 & LHS 1999-2001 (PP40741)
This is the six-cover version of our Concorde pillar trim. PP40741 sells for $67.99 and is cut from polished 26 gauge 304 stainless in the USA. Its record holds two rows, each tagged 4-door, Sedan: the Chrysler Concorde for 1998-2004 and the Chrysler LHS for 1999-2001. The title names both, so LHS owners can see straight away that this page covers their car too.
Six covers versus four. The four-cover sibling is PP40740, listed for exactly the same two rows. There are no notes on either page, no post names and no measurements. What separates them is the shape count you can see in each gallery. Walk around your sedan with the photos open and pick the set whose shapes line up with them.
Checking your car. The model name and the year are what decide fit here. A Concorde needs to fall within 1998-2004; an LHS within 1999-2001. Your records should confirm the model, the year and the four-door body. When in doubt, Quality Automotive Trims takes calls on 877-752-3811; mention PP40741 and what your paperwork says.
Purpose. Think of the six as dress trim. They lie on the posts around the side windows and don't change how the doors open, how the glass moves or how the seals meet. Corrosion resistance comes from the 304 alloy itself.
How they stay put. 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape bonds each cover to whatever finish your posts carry today. Nothing is drilled and no Chrysler trim is pulled off. Check the Installation tab for the working temperature range and how long the tape needs to cure.
Getting the posts ready. Tape grips the surface it touches, so that surface has to be sound. Take off wax and polish. Repair paint that is chalking, crazing or lifting first. Wash with car soap, rinse well, let everything dry, and go over each post with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths, switching to a clean one until nothing more comes off. Look for dings and filler while you're there.
Have on hand: car soap and a bucket, rubbing alcohol, a pile of lint-free cloths, a roll of painter's tape, a pencil, and ideally a friend who can step back and tell you when a cover looks straight.
Putting them on. Work in shade on a calm, dry day. Lay the six beside the gallery to make sure each is present and undamaged, and phone us if one isn't. Take a cover, find the post its photo shows, and hold it there with the liner still attached. Nudge it until the border looks even, then box it in with painter's tape. Peel the liner, drop the cover into the box, and press hard along the full length and both sides. Review it from a few paces before moving to the next.
Trouble seating one? Leave that liner on and talk to us at 877-752-3811 before you force anything. After curing, the Concorde or LHS can be washed as normal with car soap, and the covers dried with a soft towel.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
