Product Description
Six-Cover Pillar Post Trim for the Chrysler 300M 1999-2004 (PP39761)
PP39761 is the six-cover pillar set for the Chrysler 300M, model years 1999-2004, priced at $67.99. Each cover is polished 26 gauge 304 stainless, made in the USA. The fitment row is tagged 4-door, Sedan.
Its linked counterpart, PP39760, holds four covers for the same years and body. Both listings stop at the count: no notes, no post names, no widths. So decide from the photos. Open the six-cover gallery here and the four-cover one there, then go out to your 300M and see which posts each shape would dress. If six cover the posts you want in polished steel, this is your set; if four do, order PP39760.
Three more linked 300M listings are separate parts, sold on their own pages and not included here: the door handle accent set DH39760, the gas door cover GC39760, and the wheel well fender trim molding WZ39760.
The fitment row runs six years as one, and the photo check is the same for any of them. Make sure your records show a four-door 300M sedan. For a second opinion on the galleries, ring Quality Automotive Trims on 877-752-3811; quote PP39761 and your year. While you're comparing, run a hand along each post for dents or old repairs that could keep a cover from bedding down.
These six are cosmetic. They lie over the posts by the side windows, and the Chrysler's doors, glass and weatherstrip stay as they are. Type 304 stainless keeps corrosion away through its chemistry rather than a plated layer.
Each of the six mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, adhering to the existing paint or trim on the posts. You won't drill the sedan, and no trim comes off. The temperature range and cure time are on the Installation tab.
Prepare all six posts before the day. Wax and polish come off; chalky, crazed or flaking spots get repaired, because the tape holds only to the surface it meets. Wash with car soap, rinse, dry right through, and wipe each with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths, changing to a fresh cloth until one comes up clean.
Before the 300M job, set out car soap and a bucket, rubbing alcohol, more lint-free cloths than seems necessary, a roll of painter's tape and a pencil. If a friend can stand at the nose and tail of the sedan in turn, the six covers are easier to judge.
Work in shade on a dry day with no wind. Count the six against the photos and phone us if any is bent or missing. Group them by position, using the photos. Liner on, offer each to its post, ease it until the margin is even, and box it with painter's tape. Lift the liner, set the cover in the box, and press firmly along its full length and both edges. Fit the next cover, then carry on.
Should one of the six rock or rise at a tip, stop with its liner still attached and give us a ring on 877-752-3811. When the tape has cured, the Chrysler's covers are washed like its paint, car soap and water, and dried with a soft towel.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
