Product Description
Chrysler 300M 1999-2004 Pillar Post Trim, Four Stainless Covers (PP39760)
Chrysler's 300M sedan, listed for the 1999-2004 model years, is the car PP39760 is cut for. The set holds four polished covers of 26 gauge 304 stainless, made in the USA, priced at $56.99, and its fitment row reads 4-door, Sedan.
Several 300M listings are linked here, but only one of them is another pillar set: PP39761, with six covers for the same years. The rest are different parts, each on its own page and none included here. DH39760 is a door handle accent set, GC39760 a gas door cover, and WZ39760 a wheel well fender trim molding.
Between the two pillar sets, the galleries do the explaining. Neither listing has notes, names its posts or gives widths. Count four shapes here and six on PP39761, then look along your 300M and decide which posts you want in polished steel. If these four match that plan, order this page; if the six-cover photos do, order PP39761.
The row covers six model years as one. The 300M row spans 1999 through 2004, so check your car's year on the registration before ordering. If a shape looks unfamiliar, call Quality Automotive Trims on 877-752-3811 and quote PP39760 with your year. It also helps to look along each post for dents or old repairs before ordering, as a flat cover needs a flat surface.
The covers are cosmetic. Each one sits over a post by the side glass; the Chrysler's doors, windows and seals keep working as they do. Grade 304 stainless resists corrosion by its makeup and carries no plating.
The four mount with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, which bonds to whatever paint or trim the 300M's posts have now. No drilling, and no trim comes off. The Installation tab lists the temperature range and cure time.
Check the four posts the tape will hold. A chalky film, fine crazing, an edge lifting, or a residue of wax or polish should be sorted out first. Wash with car soap, rinse, dry fully, and wipe with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths until a new cloth comes off clean.
Lay out car soap and a bucket, rubbing alcohol, a supply of lint-free cloths, painter's tape and a pencil before starting on the 300M. A helper who can watch from the front and rear of the car makes each cover quicker to judge.
Choose a still, dry day out of the sun. Lay the four next to the gallery and call us about any bent or missing cover. With the liner on, set each to its post, ease it until the reveal is even, and trace it with painter's tape. Peel the liner, lay the cover in the tracing, and press firmly along its length and both edges. Fit the next one, then do the last two.
If a cover rocks over its post, stop with the liner still on and ring 877-752-3811. After the cure, the four are washed with car soap along with the sedan and dried with a soft towel.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 4 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
