Steel. 304 grade resists corrosion without any plated layer, so a scratch shows the same steel underneath. Car soap and water, on the same day you wash the TSX, keep it clean.
Mounting. Six strips of 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, pressed directly over the existing surface of the TSX's posts. Nothing drilled, nothing removed. Temperature range and cure time are on the Installation tab.
Prep. On a 2006-2008 TSX, look at every post for wax, a chalky haze, hairline cracks or a lifting edge, and fix them; the tape holds only to that finish. Wash, dry, and wipe each with rubbing alcohol until a fresh cloth shows nothing.
Supplies. Soap, a bucket, alcohol, cloths, painter's tape and a pencil for numbering. A helper is useful for judging whether each cover sits level, and for handing over covers in the right order.
Fitting. Work on a still, dry day in shade. Match the six covers to the gallery and call about anything bent or missing. Set them out as the photos show. With liners on, place each cover, square it and frame it in numbered tape until all six are marked. Then peel and press two at a time, firmly from end to end and down both edges, comparing from the front of the sedan every two covers.

Aftercare. Keep the Acura dry until the cure time passes, then wash the covers with the paint and dry them with a soft towel.
