Mounting. On the Murano, each of the six is held by 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the posts fully first. No drilling, no trim removal; the Installation tab gives the temperature range and cure time.
Preparation. Run a fingertip along all six posts and look for a powdery bloom, crazing, a curled edge or a slick of wax. Fix any you find. Wash, rinse and dry, then rub each post with rubbing alcohol on lint-free cloths, swapping cloths until one stays white. A step stool helps with the upper ends if they're hard to see.
Kit. For six covers on the Murano: car soap and a bucket of water, rubbing alcohol, a generous pile of lint-free cloths, a roll of painter's tape, a pencil for numbering, a clean towel to hold the pieces in order, and a second person to stand off the SUV's side.
Fitting. On a dry, still day in shade, check the six covers against the photos and call about any that are bent or short. Set the six Murano covers out as pictured. Backing on, offer each cover to its post, adjust until the gaps match, and box it in with painter's tape, all six before peeling. Two at a time, peel, set the cover in its box, and press firmly along its length and edges.
