Tape mounting. Every cover mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape over whatever finish the post has now. There are no holes to drill and no panels to remove. The Installation tab gives the temperatures and the cure period.
Getting the posts ready. Wash all six in car-soap water, rinse and dry. Take off any wax, sealant or polish film. Repair paint that has gone powdery, cracked or loose, since the tape bonds to that layer and no deeper. Finish with rubbing alcohol on a clean lint-free cloth, turning it to a fresh face until it shows nothing, and run a fingertip along each post for dents.
Putting them on. Pick a still, dry day and a shady spot. Lay the six out against their photos and report anything bent or scratched straight away. Number the posts on strips of painter's tape so every cover has its place. Keep the liner on, offer the first cover up, ease it until the gap around it is even and box it in with tape. Remove the liner, drop it into the box and press hard along its face and both edges. Look it over from a step back, checking the gap is still even, before moving on.
