Six pieces or four?

How it attaches
Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape and goes directly over the existing surface of the pillar. That means no holes and nothing to take off the van first.
Getting the pillars ready
Pillars collect fingerprints, glass cleaner film and road grime. Wash them with soapy water, rinse, and dry with a clean towel. Follow with a wipe of rubbing alcohol on a lint-free cloth, and give it a minute to flash off. Any wax, sealant or ceramic coating on the contact area has to go, because tape won't bond well to it. If the paint or finish underneath is chipped or lifting, fix that first.
Sorting six parts
With more pieces comes more chance of mixing them up. Lay all six out on a towel in the order the photos show, then hold each one against its pillar with the liner still on. When the edges follow the pillar, write its spot on the liner and mark both ends on the van with small strips of painter's tape. A piece that refuses to sit right usually belongs on another pillar.
Pressing them on
Peel one liner at a time. Set the piece between your marks, press hard from one end to the other, and run a fingertip down both long edges. Step back after each piece and compare it with the others before moving on. A step stool helps with the upper ends. Pick a dry, mild day inside the temperature range on the Installation tab, and wait the listed cure time before the first wash.
Living with it
Mild soap, water and a soft cloth keep polished stainless looking right. Skip abrasive pads and steel wool, which leave scratches you'll see in sunlight.
