With backings on, offer each one up to the GLC, sight along both edges, and mark its spot with painter's tape, writing the location on the backing in pencil. When all six have a home, peel and press them one at a time, using firm pressure along the full length and both edges. Compare each new cover with the ones before it so they stay even.
