Gather a full roll of low-tack painter's tape, a soft pencil, rubbing alcohol, a bucket of car-soap water and a thick pile of lint-free cloths. With eight covers, a second person watching each line from a few paces back is a real help.
Park the Taurus in shade on a still, dry day. Spread the eight beside their photos, pick out the touch pad piece and tell us about any damage. Tape a number at each post. Starting at one with the liner attached, lay the cover on its post, slide it until the gap round it looks the same everywhere and mark its corners. Peel, bring it back to the marks and press hard across the face and down each edge before checking it against its picture.
