Group the eight Sorento pieces by position on a soft towel. Wash, dry, and de-wax each pillar. Dry-fit every cover, then peel and press firmly along its length. Press one, step back, and copy its reveal on the others. A dry, mild day is best, and the tape should go a few days without washing. The Installation tab gives each step.
One crooked piece shows
With eight covers in a row, the eye reads them as a single line, so a piece set slightly off stands out. A patient dry-fit, checked against the photos, prevents that.
Keeping it clean
Rinse away grit, wash with mild soap, and dry with a soft towel. Keep abrasive pads and harsh chemicals off the polish, and dry the steel to stop water spots.
