Product Description
Eight-Piece Polished Pillar Trim for Genesis GV70, 2022-2023 (PP72372)
For GV70 owners who want the most stainless along the side glass, PP72372 is the largest of QAA's three kits for this crossover. It includes eight mirror-polished covers of 304 stainless steel and is listed for the 4-door GV70 crossover SUV, 2022 and 2023.
The fullest GV70 option
QAA also lists a four-piece kit, PP72370, and a six-piece kit, PP72371. This one has the most pieces. Because the data carries no coverage note for any of them, it does not say which further areas the eight pieces reach. The product photos are the reliable way to see what you get, and you are welcome to call and ask.
Vehicle and years
Genesis GV70, 4-door crossover SUV, model years 2022 and 2023. That is the full listed fitment, shown on the Fitment tab.
The steel
Eight pieces of 26-gauge 304 stainless, polished to a mirror and made in the USA. With solid stainless there is no plated layer to wear through, and every piece has the same finish so the set looks uniform.
Tape mounting
3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape is used on each cover. The kit installs over the existing pillar surface, so the original pillars stay intact underneath. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime without causing damage to the vehicle surface.
Plan your install
Eight pieces take a little longer than four, so set aside an unhurried hour or two on a dry, mild day. Wash the pillars, dry them, and wipe off any wax. Lay out all eight GV70 covers by position. Dry-fit each one against the photos before peeling the liner, then press firmly along its full length. Fit the first, use it as the reference for the others, and give the tape a few days before washing. The Installation tab lists every step.
Why go big
More pieces mean more continuous bright metal around the windows. If you already know you like a polished look, one larger kit avoids buying twice.
What pillar covers do
They overlay the vertical posts beside the door glass, giving each window a bright border. Nothing structural changes.
Upkeep
Wash gently with mild soap, rinse, and dry with a microfiber towel. Abrasive pads and harsh polishes can dull the mirror finish, so leave them out.
Before ordering
Because the GV70 listing is limited to two model years, confirm yours first. The registration or the door jamb sticker is the quickest place to check. If you are buying for someone else, ask us rather than assume.
Handling eight covers
The more pieces in a kit, the more it helps to stay organized. Keep the covers on a soft towel while you work so the polished faces do not get scratched on the ground. Leave the protective liner in place until the moment each piece goes on, and do not touch the adhesive with your fingers, since oil from skin weakens the bond. A helper holding the photos up while you place each piece can make the job quicker.

Installation tips: Pillar Post Trim
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
