Product Description
Cadillac XT5 2017-2026 Rear Hatch Window Set, 2-Piece Polished Stainless (RW57260)
RW57260 is a two-piece polished stainless window set for the rear hatch of the Cadillac XT5, 4-door SUV, covering ten model years from 2017 through 2026.
About the included-items line
The included-items line calls this part "Sliding Rear Window Trim Accents," the same phrase used on pickup slider sets. The XT5 is listed as an SUV, and the title and part name say rear hatch window set, so that line looks like a catalog carry-over rather than a requirement for a sliding window. The product photos show where the two pieces mount. If anything doesn't match your vehicle, Quality Automotive Trims can help at 877-752-3811.
Specs
The two XT5 pieces are 26-gauge 304 stainless steel, mirror-polished and made in the USA, each held to the current surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. Per QAA, the tape keeps its grip for a lifetime without damage. The record gives no dimensions.
Rear of the XT5
RD57260, a rear deck accent listed at 1.25 inches (the hatch accent on this SUV), and LP57260 license plate bezel are both linked. Together with this window set, that's three pieces at the rear. Lay all three out with painter's tape first, step back, and judge the spacing before committing.
Pillar kit choices
Four pillar kits are linked, and the larger ones include pieces up front: PP57260 is four pieces, PP57261 six, PP57262 ten with two front pillars ahead of the mirror, and PP57263 twelve with the front pillars plus one triangle piece. HL57260 headlight accents, WQ57260 wheel well accents (listed at 0.5 inches, with 3M adhesive and no gasket), and GC57260 gas door cover trim round out the list. Check each listing for its finish.
Clean the hatch
After washing and drying, wipe each mounting area with a residue-free cleaner. Keep at it with fresh cloths until there's nothing on them. Detailing sprays are the usual hidden film on newer vehicles.
Placement
Liners on, hold both pieces up to the photos. Measure each from a landmark you can find again, such as a body line, until it matches the photos, then outline in painter's tape.
Press
Peel one liner, seat that piece, press it down end to end. Fit the second piece the same way. Finish by rubbing every edge. Cool, dry weather out of direct sun is ideal; the Installation tab has detail.
Order of work
Window set first, deck accent next, bezel last.
Why steel
Solid 304 can't flake the way plating can. It's steel all the way through, so a scratch shows steel underneath, and a gentle polish brings back the mirror after years of washes.
The long fitment span
Ten model years is a wide window for one listing, and the record doesn't divide it by trim or update. Owners anywhere from 2017 to 2026 are covered as written. If your XT5's rear hatch looks different from the photos, send us a picture.
Care
A few days before washing; after that, mild soap and a soft cloth.
Decorative
Nothing is replaced, and the hatch works as before.

Installation tips: Rear Hatch Window Set
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
