For the 2015-2017 Expedition Platinum, EL included, QAA cuts four 5" strips in the USA from polished 26 gauge 304 stainless, secured under the molding with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA says the tape will hold for a lifetime with no harm to the Ford SUV.

Getting the surface ready

Afterward
A day without washing lets the tape settle. Then mild soap and a soft cloth.
