Preparing the paint
- Wash the lower doors and rinse well.
- Strip wax and polish from the whole 8" band with a wax-and-grease remover.
- Repair chips, rust or lifting paint, and let it cure.
- Wipe with isopropyl alcohol right before fitting.
Dry fit
Hold each piece in place with painter's tape: top against the molding, bottom on the door edge. Open each door fully and check the ends.
Bonding
Peel a section of liner, press across the full height of the piece, and continue. Finish with firm pressure over the whole piece.

Measure the gaps on the first Camry pieces and keep them the same.
Taking it one door at a time
Fit one door, then step back and look along the side from the front and rear. Correcting a piece before the liner comes off is easy.
Conditions
A mild, dry day in shade with warm panels. Leave the car unwashed for a day.
