Arch prep
Pick a shaded spot. Flush each arch lip with a hose to shift any dried dirt, then wash with shampoo, rinse and towel dry. Let the truck drain. Using a lamp, look along each 1.5" band for glue, wax film and chips. Remove each, then wax-and-grease remover across the band and isopropyl alcohol just before the piece.
Fitting the four
- Write each piece's corner on its liner from the photos.
- Tape the first piece up with the liner on.
- Check that the gasket meets the opening all the way round.
- Peel a few inches at the lower front end, press, and keep going over the arch.
- Press the full 1.5" again before fitting the next Ranger arch.
Arrival and care
Open the box and confirm all four arches are there. After fitting, leave the Ranger unwashed overnight; later, hand-wash with mild soap and keep any pressure washer off the rubber edging.
Matching parts to your cab
Look at your Ranger's doors: the linked pillar, sill, rocker and body side parts are split between Super Crew Cab and Super Cab, while these arches cover both. Note which cab you have on the order.
