Product Description
WP65161 Chevrolet Equinox 2025-2026 Stainless Window Trim Package, Upper Trim & Sills, 10 Pieces
WP65161 is a ten-piece polished stainless steel Window Trim Package for the 2025-2026 Chevrolet Equinox 4-door SUV. The note reads "Includes Upper Trim, Window Sills, NO Pillar Posts".
Window tops and sills
Ten pieces for the window tops and the sills, and nothing for the pillars. The record doesn't give the split between tops and sills; the photos show each piece.
Pillars: decide now
No pillar post set is linked for this Equinox. The only package with pillar trim is WP65160, sixteen pieces that include the pillar posts with the tops and sills. If you think you'll want the pillars covered, order that package instead; there's no matching kit to pair with this one later.
No separate sill set needed
WS65160, a four-piece sill set noted "Face of sills only", is listed separately. The sills are already in this package, so you won't need it.
Construction
The ten 2025-2026 Equinox upper and sill pieces are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel from a USA shop, set over the existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA states the tape will hold for a lifetime and won't mark the SUV.
Sorting
Split the window tops from the sills, then order each group by door. Hold each door's pair against the Equinox beside the photos and write the position on the liner. Count all ten.
Prep
Remove old adhesive, wax and loose paint from the frame tops and sills. Wash and dry the SUV. Right before a piece goes on, wipe its strip with a wax-and-grease remover and then isopropyl alcohol.
Fitting top, then sill
On each door, fit the window top first and the sill second. Hold each piece in place with its liner on and painter's tape marking the ends, then close the door slowly to check it clears. Peel the first inch of liner, press that end onto its mark and work along, peeling and pressing. Check that the top and sill on each door line up with the door before.
More for the Equinox
An upper rocker kit at 3.5", a license plate bezel and a gas door cover are linked too. Each is a separate job; finish the windows first.
Choosing ten or sixteen
Pick this set if the window tops and sills are what you want and the pillars can stay as they are. For everything in one box, WP65160 is the larger package.
Care
Give the Equinox a day before washing, then use mild soap and a soft cloth. If a piece won't lie flat on its frame, call 877-752-3811.
Years covered
Only the 2025 and 2026 Equinox are in the fitment. For an earlier Equinox, call 877-752-3811 before ordering. Count the ten pieces against the photos when the box arrives.
Weather
Choose a dry, mild day for the job. Keep the ten pieces in their box, out of direct sun, until each one goes on the SUV.

Installation tips: Window Accent Package
- Unpack all 10 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
