Product Description
Dodge Journey 2009-2020 Window Sill Trim, Six Stainless Pieces – WS49945
WS49945 is a six-piece Window Sill Trim Set in polished stainless steel for the Dodge Journey 4-door SUV, covering the long run of 2009 through 2020. The record gives no width.
Checking your Journey
One listing covers all twelve model years. Confirm your Journey's year falls in 2009-2020 and compare its sills with the photos before buying. If there's any mismatch, call 877-752-3811 and quote SKU WS49945.
Stainless and tape
Six pieces of polished 26 gauge 304 stainless steel, made in the USA, fitted over the existing surface. They mount with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. Per QAA, the tape gives a lifetime hold and causes no damage to the Journey.
Six pieces
The record lists six pieces without saying which window each one is for. Lay them out against the photos in door order, and mark the liners.
Pillar post sets
PP49945 (four pieces) and PP49946 (six pieces) are linked for the Journey. Each is separate, and no package combining posts and sills is listed. The record doesn't say what the two further pieces in PP49946 cover; compare the photos or call.
More Journey parts
- TH49945: four-piece lower kit on the doors only, 4.25-4.375" wide, spanning from the bottom of the door up.
- MI49945: four-piece body molding insert kit, 1.75" wide.
- WQ49945: eight-piece wheel well accent trim.
- RD49945: rear deck accent, 2" wide; LP49945: license plate bezel.
Cleaning
Close the windows. Wash all six sill areas with soapy water and a soft cloth, wipe with clean water and dry. Remove wax, polish and adhesive with wax-and-grease remover and a plastic scraper. Wipe each area with isopropyl alcohol immediately before its piece.
Fitting
Take the doors one by one. Hold each piece with its liner on and check how it meets its neighbour, then peel and press from one end. Compare each finished door with the photos before moving on.
Delivery & care
Count six pieces on arrival. After fitting, wait a day before washing the SUV.
Before ordering
Because twelve model years share this listing, compare your own sills with the photos as well as checking the year. Look at the number and position of the windows in the photos and match them to your Journey. If something differs, phone QAA with SKU WS49945; they can confirm.
Planning more trim
The pillar sets, rocker kit, molding inserts and wheel well trim are separate jobs on separate listings. Do them in any order. Nothing on the record says the sills must go on first.
Fitting day
Six fittings take time, so pick a dry day and park in shade on level ground. Lay the pieces on a towel in their two groups. Once all six are fitted, walk round, compare each piece with its photo, and press down any end that sits proud. If one keeps lifting, call 877-752-3811. Mild soap and a soft cloth from then on.
Keep the Journey carton until every piece is on.

Installation tips: Window Sill Trim Set
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position on the vehicle, using the product photos, before fitting any of them.
- Each piece mounts with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape, so clean and dry the mounting surface first; the tape needs paint or trim free of dirt and wax.
- Align the piece and press it firmly into place directly over the existing surface, working along its full length so the tape bonds evenly.
- Fit one piece at a time and compare each with the product photos and the pieces already in place.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions packed with your kit if they differ.
