The separate sill set
WS60184 is a four-piece sill set noted "Face of sills only". This package already includes sills, so it isn't needed here. The record doesn't say whether the sill pieces in this box match WS60184.
Material
All twenty HD pieces are polished 26 gauge 304 stainless, made in the USA, and adhere over the truck's existing surface with 3M automotive-grade acrylic foam tape. QAA says the tape will hold for a lifetime without damaging the Silverado.
Getting the pieces in order
The record doesn't split the twenty into window tops, pillars and sills, so do it from the photos. Lay out three rows, order each by door, then walk each door's pieces to the truck and hold them in place. Write the door and position on every liner, and count all twenty before you clean.
Preparing the truck
Look along the frame tops, pillars and sills for old adhesive, wax or loose paint, and clear it. Wash and dry the Silverado. Wipe each strip with a wax-and-grease remover, then isopropyl alcohol, just before its piece goes on.
Fitting door by door
Do the window top first, then the pillar pieces against it, then the sill. Each piece gets a dry fit with its liner on and painter's tape at the ends; close the door gently to check clearance. Then peel back an inch of liner, press that end onto its mark and keep peeling and pressing along. Look along the side of the cab after each door before you move to the next.
