Trim Illusion Chrome Mirror Covers for 2019-2026 Ram 1500 (MC290)
Part MC290 from Trim Illusion is a mirror cover set finished in chrome, made to fit the 2019-2026 Ram 1500. Expect two parts when you open it.
Before you order
It is listed for the (Not for Classic) trims. Mirror coverage is top. For signal mirrors: With Turn Signal.
This is a 2019-2026 Ram 1500-only part. Outside that range, it will not fit.
Design notes
Mirror housings stick out at eye level. It is one of the most noticeable changes for the cost. A chrome finish catches light from every angle. It pairs well with chrome bumpers and wheels.
Go further
You can extend the look with DH275 (door handle cover, chrome), DH6357BLK (door handle cover, gloss black), DH6275BLK (door handle cover, gloss black), WSK857-18BLK (wheel skin set, gloss black). Each has its own fit list.
Attachment
It mounts with adhesive tape. Your drill stays in the toolbox. A clean, dry, wax-free surface is the key step. Trim Illusion lists the material as ABS plastic.
Have your VIN or trim handy and call 877-752-3811. Stiff brushes can scratch it, so use a mitt.
Lay all pieces out before starting. Boxed, it measures near 13.0 x 6.0 x 6.0 in.
Order and support questions go fastest with MC290. A cover avoids the expense of new OEM parts. Use the gallery to check the outline against your own vehicle.
It is a good choice if you are building a themed look. Basic care and a steady hand are enough. It photographs well, which matters if you sell later.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. Your exact model year matters for this part.
The eye follows lines of trim around the body. It is one step toward a cohesive look.
Lay everything out in the order you will install it. Hold each part in place to confirm the shape lines up. Take a photo; it is satisfying to compare before and after.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. A gentle rinse after winter driving helps.
Body shops charge by the hour for finish changes. There is no curing time to wait out.
Wrapping complex shapes takes practice. This route keeps the factory parts intact.
Orders to the lower 48 ship at no charge.
Open the box and check the contents against the listing first. Look at it from a few feet away before pressing it on. A final walk-around confirms everything sits even.
Treat it like the rest of the exterior. Bird droppings and sap should come off promptly.
Fleet and work-truck owners use trim like this to freshen older units. It does not require a lift or a garage full of equipment. The finished look is clean and intentional.

Installation tips: Mirror Cover
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
