Appearance
The mirrors sit right where people look when you pull up. Changing their finish ties them into the rest of the trim. Chrome brings bright highlights back. It matches factory chrome elsewhere on many vehicles.
Fits more than one
Trim Illusion lists 2 applications: 2021-2026 Ford F-150 and 2022-2026 Ford F-150 Lightning. Confirm your year in the Fitment tab.

Fleet and work-truck owners use trim like this to freshen older units. Most people finish it in one session. Done well, it looks like it came from the factory.
Body shops charge by the hour for finish changes. It suits renters of garage space and driveway workers alike.
Consistency is the goal with exterior trim. It fills a gap many owners notice.
Lay everything out in the order you will install it. Mark reference points with painter's tape if it helps. A final walk-around confirms everything sits even.
Trim is where many factory cost cuts show.
Small alignment errors are easiest to fix before committing. Give it time before the first wash.
Weekend DIYers will find it approachable. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. The result reads as a deliberate design choice.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. Keep wax and polish off the edges where possible.
Aftermarket replacements often need cutting or drilling. It costs a fraction of shop work.

Installation tips: Mirror Cover
- Unpack all 2 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
