Part DH6315BLK from Trim Illusion is a door handle cover set finished in gloss black, made to fit the 2019-2026 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Several more vehicles share it. The kit includes eight pieces. Trim Illusion describes it as a patented design.
Details that matter
For keyless handles: No Smart Key. Doors: 4. Keyhole cutout: driver side.
Design notes
The handles repeat down both sides, so they set a pattern. Covers give them a matched finish. A gloss black finish darkens bright trim. It looks sharp on light paint and blends on dark paint.
Getting it on
It snaps on and has tape for extra hold. Both the fit and the tape keep it secure. No drilling on the Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Construction is ABS plastic, so it will not rust.

Avoid scouring compounds on the finish. Give yourself a clean, well-lit space. It keeps the factory parts in place.

Check that the finish is what you expected before you begin. Line it up by eye and step back to check. Once it is in place, press evenly across the whole part.
Normal cleaning keeps it looking right. Dry it with a soft towel to avoid water spots.
Trim is where many factory cost cuts show. It fills a gap many owners notice.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. Ordering the right part the first time avoids returns.
It makes sense for a vehicle you plan to keep a while. A second person helps with alignment on larger pieces. The finished look is clean and intentional.
Compared with painting, a cover is the quicker route. No masking or overspray to deal with.
Consistency is the goal with exterior trim. It brings this area in line with the rest.
It is a good choice if you are building a themed look. Expect the job to take less time than a car wash and wax. Passersby will notice the change, not the method.

Installation tips: Door Handle Cover
- Unpack all 8 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part over the factory piece to confirm it seats, then remove it.
- Peel the tape liner, line the part up, and press until it snaps into place.
- Press firmly along the taped areas.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
