Product Description
Trim Illusion Gloss Black Grille Overlay for 2022-2024 GMC Terrain (ABS6847BLK)
A gloss black finish for your 2022-2024 GMC Terrain is what ABS6847BLK delivers. This Trim Illusion grille overlay is our listing for it. The kit includes six pieces.
It is cataloged for the 2022-2024 GMC Terrain and nothing else. Other years use different parts.
Appearance
The first thing anyone sees coming is the grille. Overlays skip the cost and labor of a full grille swap. Gloss black works for a chrome-delete look. It is a good fit if you never liked factory chrome.
Pairs well with
For a matched GMC Terrain, see DH319 (door handle cover, chrome), MC360 (mirror cover, chrome), MC6287BLK (mirror cover, gloss black), MC287 (mirror cover, chrome), DH6346BLK (door handle cover, gloss black). Fitment differs by part, so verify each.
What to confirm
It is listed for the SLT trims.
Getting it on
Fitting type: tape-on. No holes are needed. Surface prep is what makes the tape hold. Construction is ABS plastic, so it will not rust.
Our system finds it fastest by ABS6847BLK. Work in the shade on a mild day. Higher trim levels often charge extra for this look.
Have your VIN or trim handy and call 877-752-3811. Look closely at the images, especially near sensors and emblems.
A normal car wash is all it needs. Expect a box about 45.0 inches long.
The eye follows lines of trim around the body. It fills a gap many owners notice.
Shipping is free within the contiguous United States. The Fitment tab is the final word on compatibility.
Start by matching each piece to its position on the vehicle. A dry run catches problems before they become permanent. Recheck the edges after the first drive.
A molded cover follows contours that wrap struggles with. This route keeps the factory parts intact.
It is aimed at drivers who like a personalized vehicle. Basic care and a steady hand are enough. It photographs well, which matters if you sell later.
Treat it like the rest of the exterior. Dry it with a soft towel to avoid water spots.
This suits owners who want a custom look without a shop visit. Plan a calm afternoon rather than a rushed half hour. It is a visible upgrade for a modest effort.
Line it up by eye and step back to check. Take a photo; it is satisfying to compare before and after.
Wrapping complex shapes takes practice. No sanding or primer is involved.
Normal cleaning keeps it looking right. Bird droppings and sap should come off promptly.
Lower-48 delivery is free on this item. Ordering the right part the first time avoids returns.

Installation tips: Grille Overlay
- Unpack all 6 pieces and match each one to its position using the product photos.
- Clean the mounting area with soapy water, then wipe with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry completely. Wax or dirt will keep the tape from bonding.
- Dry-fit the part before removing any tape liner.
- Peel the liner, align carefully, and press firmly along the whole part.
- Avoid washing the vehicle for a day or so while the tape sets.
- Check the alignment against the photos when finished.
These are general tips. Follow any instructions included with the part if they differ.
