The look
The mirrors sit right where people look when you pull up. Changing their finish ties them into the rest of the trim. Gloss black works for a chrome-delete look. It looks sharp on light paint and blends on dark paint.
Applications
Trim Illusion lists 3 applications: 2017-2024 Toyota Prius, 2018-2026 Toyota Camry and 2019-2022 Toyota Avalon. Your exact year must be inside the range.
Avoid scouring compounds on the finish. Rushing is the most common mistake.
Look closely at the images, especially near sensors and emblems. Have your VIN or trim handy and call 877-752-3811. It is cheaper than painting or dipping trim.
The shipping box is about 13.0 x 6.0 x 4.0 inches. Reference MC6295BLK when contacting us.
Spray coatings need masking; a molded part does not. This route keeps the factory parts intact.
Finish choices set the tone of the whole exterior. It makes the change visible from the street.
It does not ask for anything beyond normal care. Avoid pressure-washing edges at close range.
Weekend DIYers will find it approachable. Most people finish it in one session. Passersby will notice the change, not the method.
QAA ships free to the lower 48 states. The Fitment tab is the final word on compatibility.
Before starting, confirm everything arrived undamaged. Look at it from a few feet away before pressing it on. Recheck the edges after the first drive.
It is aimed at drivers who like a personalized vehicle. Plan a calm afternoon rather than a rushed half hour. It photographs well, which matters if you sell later.
Wrapping complex shapes takes practice. No masking or overspray to deal with.
One mismatched part can stand out more than you expect. It gives this spot the same attention as the rest.
There is no shipping charge on lower-48 orders. When in doubt, ask before you buy.
Check that the finish is what you expected before you begin. Take a photo; it is satisfying to compare before and after.
Day to day, it needs no attention beyond washing. A gentle rinse after winter driving helps.
